Day 01: Nepal: Arrival at Kathmandu

Upon arriving at Kathmandu Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative of Everest Travels who will assist you to your hotel. There, you will be served a delicious non-alcoholic welcome drink to help alleviate the fatigue of your journey. You have the rest of the day at leisure, so you can go ahead and explore the area around your hotel and admire the beauty of Kathmandu.

Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and is located at an altitude of 1300 meters above sea level. The Kathmandu Valley is surrounded by beautiful, rolling green hills and is home to seven of the ten UNESCO World Heritage Sites.Tourism is a key industry in Nepal, and the city is a popular destination for travelers from all over the world.

Day 02: Nepal: Kathmandu Sightseeing & flying to Pokhara

In the morning, we will start our journey by visiting Pashupatinath Temple; it is a renowned Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated on the banks of the Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu Valley. Constructed in the Pagoda style of architecture, the Temple is characterized by its cubic structures, carved wooden panels, and two-level roofs made of copper and gold.

Next on our list will be BouddhanathStupa; it is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal as well as a very popular tourist destination. In 1979, BouddhanathStupa was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In the afternoon, we will fly to Pokhara. Pokhara is a stunning destination to appreciate nature’s beauty and take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. People come here to enjoy the majestic view of the Himalayan Range and serene lakes.

Day 03: Nepal: A visit to Muktinath & Damodar Kund by Helicopter

After having a hearty breakfast, we will drive to the domestic airport to board a chartered helicopter and ascend to Muktinath, a Vishnu Temple located in Mustang, Nepal. This temple is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists, and its main attraction is the burning flame that is believed to be eternal. Upon arrival, you can offer prayers and take a holy bath in the 108 spouts of water, each of which is said to possess spiritual significance.
After visiting Muktinath, we will fly to DamodarKund in the Sindhupalchok District of Nepal. It’s located at an elevation of 1,700 meters and is famous for its beautiful scenery and crystal clear water. It is also known for its spiritual significance, with Lord Vishnu believed to have appeared in the form of a fish to form the lake. DamodarKund is a great spot for bird watching and fishing.

After such an eventful day we will then fly back to our hotel in Pokhara for a relaxing night in.

Day 04:Nepal: Pokhara local sightseeing:-

On this morning, first on our list will be Bindyabasini Temple, which lies in the center of Pokhara. It is dedicated to the Goddess Bhagwati and is situated on a hillock surrounded by the natural beauty of the valley.

We will then make our way to Davis Fall, a colossal waterfall known as a “luck pond” where visitors come to try their luck by throwing coins on the statue of God. This waterfall is fed by the Phewa Lake Dam and is surrounded by lush greenery.

Then we’ll be on our way to visit the Gupteshworv Mahadev Cave, Nepal’s most famous cave and believed to be the longest cave.

We will conclude our day by visiting the Seti River George and the Regional Museum, which is devoted to the history and culture of the Pokhara Valley. The lifestyle and history of ethnic groups are attractively displayed in the museum.

Day 05: Nepal:  Flying Back to Kathmandu

In the morning, after having breakfast, we will drive to the domestic airport to board a flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, we will check into a hotel for a brief rest before continuing our exploration at Kathmandu Durbar Square, a historic complex built during the Licchavi period. This square is home to numerous palaces, courtyards, and temples, making it the highest concentration of old structures in the area.

Day 06: Nepal:  A free day to explore

We will be wrapping up our trip here, so after having breakfast at the hotel; you can spend the rest of the day at leisure for personal activities or shopping for souvenirs on your own cost. Afterward, please return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 07: Nepal: Departure

It is time to bid adieu to Nepal. After breakfast you will be dropped to Kathmandu Airport. As you depart, take with you the memories of your amazing time in Nepal and all the wonderful things it has to offer. Until next time!
